Abu Hathmah ibn Hudhayfah

Abū Hathmah ibn Ḥudhayfah ibn Ghānim was of Banū ʿAdī of Quraysh. He is preserved in the genealogical notices primarily as the father of Laylā bint Abī Hathmah, the early Muslim woman who migrated with her husband ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah to Abyssinia and later to Madinah. The same family notices also record Sulaymān ibn Abī Hathmah as Laylā's brother.
