Hajl ibn Abd al-Muttalib

Ḥajl ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, also called al-Mughīrah in some genealogical accounts, was a son of ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib and Hālah bint Wuhayb. He was a paternal uncle of the Prophet ﷺ. Some later reports identify Ḥajl with al-Ghayḍāq, while other genealogies treat them as separate brothers.
