Biography
Lubābah al-Ṣughrā ("Lubābah the younger," to distinguish her from her older sister Umm al-Faḍl, whose given name was also Lubābah) was one of five daughters of the same mother as Zaynab bint Khuzaymah, Maymūnah bint al-Ḥārith, and Umm al-Faḍl. She married al-Walīd ibn al-Mughīrah, chieftain of Banū Makhzūm, and became the mother of Khālid ibn al-Walīd.
