Maysara

Maysara was the servant of Khadijah رضي الله عنها whom she sent with the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم on the trading caravan to Bosrā in Syria. His role was to accompany the caravan and report back. Upon their return, Maysara told Khadijah of the Prophet's صلى الله عليه وسلم honesty, his care and concern for the goods and for all those with him. He also narrated the extraordinary profit, ʿadʿaf, many times over what any previous agent had produced. It was Maysara's testimony that deepened Khadijah's certainty about the man she wished to marry.
