Prophet Musa (Moses)

Mūsā (عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ) is one of the greatest prophets, sent to the Pharaoh of Egypt and given the Torah. During the Isrāʾ wal-Miʿrāj, the Prophet ﷺ passed by his grave and saw him praying inside it. He saw him again standing and praying at Baitul Maqdis (with Isa and Ibrahim), led him in salah, then met him a third time in the sixth heaven, where Mūsā wept out of blessed jealousy (ghibṭah) that the Prophet's ﷺ Ummah would be larger than his own in Jannah. Mūsā is the prophet the Prophet ﷺ most frequently recalled when facing hardship: 'Indeed, Mūsā was harmed more than I was by his own people and he remained patient.' He later interceded during the Mi'raj to reduce the 50 daily prayers to 5.
