Rabi'ah ibn Ka'b

Rabīʿah ibn Kaʿb is preserved in the lineage of the Companion ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah. ʿĀmir is commonly named in the biographical works as ʿĀmir ibn Rabīʿah ibn Kaʿb, while his social affiliation in Makkah came through his pre-Islamic adoption and alliance with al-Khaṭṭāb ibn Nufayl of Banū ʿAdī.
