Umm Haram bint Milhan

A Companion of the Anṣār, the maternal aunt of Anas ibn Mālik, in whose house the Prophet ﷺ would sometimes rest. One day he woke smiling and told her he had seen in a dream people of his Ummah riding the sea as kings ride their thrones, waging jihād. She asked him to pray she be among them, and he said she would. Decades later, when Muʿāwiyah launched the first Muslim naval expeditions and reached Cyprus, she went with the fleet; disembarking, she was thrown from her mount and died there. Her grave and a masjid built over it remain in Cyprus to this day, an island unimaginably far from Medina at the time the prophecy was made, when no Arab knew the building of ships.
