Uqbah ibn Amir

ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī was a Companion of the Prophet (ﷺ) who later became a governor of Egypt under Muʿāwiyah. He is the narrator, preserved in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, of the Prophet's (ﷺ) final public khuṭbah, delivered in the last week of his life, in which the Prophet (ﷺ) made a special duʿāʾ for the martyrs of Uḥud, eight years after the battle, as though bidding them farewell. ʿUqbah records this as the last time he ever saw the Prophet's (ﷺ) face in that setting.
