Biography
ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Zubayr ibn al-ʿAwwām was the son of al-Zubayr ibn al-ʿAwwām and Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr. Born in Madinah after the Hijrah, he was celebrated as the first child born to the Muhājirūn there; the Prophet ﷺ performed his taḥnīk. He later became a prominent leader during the Second Fitnah.
