Umaymah bint Abd al-Muttalib

Biography
Umaymah bint ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib was a paternal aunt of the Prophet ﷺ, a sister of his father ʿAbdullāh. Through her, her children by Jaḥsh stood in the closest circle of the Prophet's ﷺ kin: her daughter Zaynab bint Jaḥsh was his first cousin and later became his wife and a Mother of the Believers, and her sons and daughters, among them ʿAbdullāh ibn Jaḥsh and Ḥamnah bint Jaḥsh, were early Muslims and emigrants.
Significance
Her lineage made Zaynab bint Jahsh a first cousin of the Prophet ﷺ, a fact central to the story of Zaynab's marriage
